A Life Well Lived

I am deeply sadden to announce that our friend Jeep crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. She passed peacefully with her family and vet friends by her side as she fought a sudden onset of pneumonia and cancer.

Jeep will be remembered as one of a kind. She completed her work as a therapy dog with daily enthusiasm and joy. She brought happiness and comfort to countless children and adults with her costumes, adventures, and antics. Jeep worked alongside human educators to teach lessons on friendship, respect, healthy choices and the Seven Habits. Jeep was a leader dog.

It was both an honor and a blessing to have Baby Jeep as my fluffy partner and friend.

Jeep was eight years old.

  1. So sorry for your loss. Jeep was such a gentle giant and loved by kids and staff alike. You came into Thompson School on a Monday after the weekend we had to put our fluff ball, Husky mix, down. You let me sit in the library for a couple minutes in my sorrow petting Jeep. I will always remember her.
